Couple weeks ago I was contacted on my blog and asked to become an ambassador for a festival “Global 12”. I have to admit, I never heard before about this event, so I immediately started browsing and looking for the information. Soon I discovered that it actually very cool festival with the artists, bands, and fans from 12 countries.
Music has been in my life since I was little and it is one thing I can’t live without. I finished musical school and still play the piano. I sang in couple choirs. When I moved to London I’ve got a degree in music management and turned music turned it into my profession and lifestyle. So, no surprise, I accepted the invitation to become an ambassador for this exciting music festival. And I can’t wait to attend it. The festival promises to be one of the most exciting weekends in the UK music calendar and a great way to finish the summer. The 2nd installment of Global 12 will take place at Cargo London with the option to upgrade the event with additional surprise locations in the heart of Shoreditch.
It offers not just the artists and bands from London, Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam, New York, Milan, Shanghai, Lagos, Sao Paulo and more… People will also enjoy the barbeque, summer cocktails, open-air dance floor. Music industry people will be able to network (I always love mixing business with pleasure). And there will be an awesome afterparty.
Couple days ago organizers finally announced the line-up and I was extremely excited to see couple names on the list like extremely talented singer July Jones and another talent Dana Elle. I attended their gigs before and enjoyed performances very much. My readers and friends know that I love discovering the new music. I will have this pleasure at Global 12.
It seems that many interesting artists will be performing. David Meli, LK, Br3nz, July Jones, Fakta, Jay Krimz, Kirmane Music, Dana Elle, Stitch, Vital and more will be performing from the UK. International line-up includes Bobson from Lagos, Jay-Way from Amsterdam. Gavlyn will be coming from New York, Killtime from Barcellona, Shiv from California, Piqued Jacks from Milan. Organisers plan to announce more international artists and bands soon. I have to admit, I am hoping to see Lithuanian artist or band performing at the festival this or next year :).
This event is perfect for those who enjoyed the Radar festival at Kensington Roof Gardens that already been closed. Don’t forget to buy the tickets and follow my blog for the exciting updates. I am hoping to see you all at the Global 12 festival in September!
